Under 'One Nation, One Ration Card' the beneficiary can get his ration from any state

Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan on Monday announced that the 'One Nation One Ration Card' scheme will be implemented across the country by June 1. In January, Paswan told that the facility would start in 12 states of the country on the first day of the new year. According to the beneficiary of the distribution center of food and public distribution minister Ram Vilas Paswan is any of the 12 states could get his ration.

The scheme will be implemented in three phases. First it has been included in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Telangana, Tripura, Gujarat and Jharkhand. Besides, this process is also going on in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Orissa and Chhattisgarh in large states. With this scheme, ration card holders in any corner of the country can easily get ration from their card. The number of ration card beneficiaries in our country is around 10 million. They are paid two rupees per kg of wheat and three rupees per kg of rice per month.

Talking to the media, Ramvilas said that 610 lakh tonnes of grain is provided for distribution. Over which the central government subsidizes Rs. 1 lakh 78 thousand crore.
 Besides, he also said that about 30 million ration cards have gone wrong all over the country. His capture by the government saved nearly Rs 3 crore.
